Our Process

Initial Contact

Once you get in touch, via our website, Facebook, phone or email, we will send you a questionnaire to complete. This will give us a better understanding of your requirements and wish list.

Initial Meeting

This objective of this meeting is to ensure we are the right fit for each other and that we are able to help you. If both parties agree we could work together, we will walk you through the Relish process and explain what will happen along the way. Once we have agreed to move to the next step we request an initial investment to prepare your proposal. This investment allows us to engage our team of preferred suppliers to assist with the preparation of a more detailed and accurate quote, which will mean minimal variations throughout your project. We will provide you with a checklist detailing what we require from you in order to prepare a proposal and if desired, can pass on the details of our preferred design consultant, who can help to ensure your home meets all your needs and flows from space to space.

Proposal Meeting

Once we have received all of the information from the checklist, we will prepare your proposal and schedule an appointment. During the proposal meeting, we will walk you through every detail of your project, confirming that your wants, needs and desires will be met. We will also present a project specification, detailing your previous selections. This will confirm elements such as internal and external material and colour selections, joinery, tapware, floor coverings and lighting.

Engagement of your preferred building surveyor

The appointed registered building surveyor will require your soil report, copy of your title, legal point of discharge, engineering drawings and computations, architectural drawings and any other information required by council for your planning and/or building permit.

Contract Meeting with Relish

Once the permits are approved, we will draw up the contracts and have them signed. They will be based on the previously discussed specifications, in accordance with the building permit, soil report, final architectural drawings, energy report, engineering and engineer’s certificate.

Project Planning Meeting

Before coming on site, we undertake a planning process to map out the details and progression of your project from start date to handover. Rob will introduce you to the team who will be building your home and set up a regular meeting schedule with your dedicated project manager. This means you know exactly who to ask any questions and when to expect updates. You are part of our team and your experience throughout your entire project is our number one priority.

Completion of your Project and Final Inspection

On the completion of your new home, the building surveyor will provide a Certificate of Occupancy. We will meet you on site to carry out an inspection to complete our quality assurance checklists together.

Handover of your New Home

At handover, we will invite you to walk into the drawings of your new home, see it come to life and handover your keys.

We will follow up three months after completion to see how you are enjoying your new home and if we can be of any further assistance. We offer the industry standard construction warranty and should any concerns arise, will attend to them promptly.
